Oswald Gerstenkorn a resident of Ossining and formerly of Valhalla passed away Friday, August 2, 2013. He was born in Germany on May 28, 1931 and the son of Christian and Katharina (Uri) Gerstenkorn. He was 82. Mr. Gerstenkorn was a retired Machinist with Farrand Controls in Valhalla. He was a member of the Senior Citizens at St. Augustine’s.
Oswald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Caroline (Eckhoff). His children Linda (John) Behan and Scott (Elaine): his grandson Sean (Melissa)Behan; and great granddaughter Madeline Rose; his brother Willie (Marga) and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Oscar and his sister Irma Oppelt.
