Mary F. Kalanta (Fitzgerald), of Hastings on Hudson and formerly of Ossining, passed away Thursday July 25, 2013 with her beloved grandson at her side. Mary was born in the Bronx on October 29, 1919 and was the daughter of William ' Mary (Jordan) Fitzgerald. She was 93.
Mary was a former longtime employee of the FDR V.A. Hospital in Montrose. Mrs. Kalanta is survived by her daughter Margaret; her grandson Michael Sheedy; her sisters Margaret Catalina ' Evelyn Hester and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers William (Buddy), Gerald, Robert, Edward, ' her sister Frances McCullough.
