Gerda DeStasio, a resident of Ossining for 89 years, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
Gerda was born in Hanover, Germany on March 16, 1925 and was the daughter of the late August and Elsie (Schapper) Gaedecke. She was 92.
Gerda graduated Ossining High School.
She then married Thomas DeStasio on May 27, 1951.
Gerda was a retired secretary at Phelps Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. DeStasio is survived by her children Perri, Carina and Thomas. Her husband Thomas predeceased her in 1990.
