The funeral mass will be held at St. Ann’s Church 25 Eastern Ave. in Ossining on following the visitation at 7:00 PM.
The interment will be held privately.
Juan De Dios Martinez
April 8, 1950 - June 14, 2015
Juan De Dios Martinez, a resident of Buchanon and a former longtime resident of Ossining for over 30 years, passed away Sunday June 14, 2015 at Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne.
Juan was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic on April 8, 1950 and was the son of Pablo Perez and Carmen Martinez. He was 65.
Juan was a longtime construction worker with Feetstar Corp. of Ossining. He was also former Mechanic with Streamline Auto and Cappello’s Auto Repair. Most recently he was a clerk with Arcadian Cards and Stationary in Ossining until his illness.
Juan loved the Mets, the outdoors, grilling and children. He was also known to all as being very happy, humorous and a positive man. His family was quotes as saying that “He took everything as it came to him”. Juan was a parishioner of St. Ann’s Church in Ossining.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife Gloria; his 7 children Theresa, Eloy, Maria, Melissa, Clarissa, Cynthia and Isabel; 14 grandchildren and his 2 sisters Yolanda and America.
