Anthony J. Finaro November 4, 1913 - April 22, 2004 Anthony J. Finaro- a resident of Briarcliff Manor died Thursday April 22, 2004. Tony was born in N. Y. City on November 4, 1913 and was the son of Salvatore and Santa (Narano) Finnocchiaro. He was 90. Tony was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a former resident of the Bronx and lived on 233rd St.. He was a retired auto mechanic with Railway Express in Astoria where he worked for 30 years before retirement. He was also a former bus driver with the Vanguard Bus Co. in Ossining. Tony is survived by his wife of 44 years Hanni, his daughter Marina (Gregg) Shults and his son John (Gail) Finaro. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 PM. There will be Scripture Readings and Prayers on Saturday at 8:00 PM and there will be a Memorial Service on Sunday at 5:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Brethren Church, 480 Pleasantville Rd., Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510, (914-769-4399).
