Josephine C. Augone August 26, 1924 - August 8, 2010 Josephine C. Augone a resident of Briarcliff Manor passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010. Josephine was born in Manhattan on August 26, 1924 and was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (LaPorte) Cappella. She was 85. Josephine was a faithful parishioner of St. Theresa's Church for over 38 years. She is survived by her two daughters Ilean (Joseph) Petrizzo and Mary Augone-Maguire (John).; her three grandchildren Brian Joseph, Michael Anthony and Joanna Rose Petrizzo; her sister Catherine Holmes. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Michael on December 31, 1991 and her brothers Michael and Albert Cappella. Visiting hours were held on Monday from 4-8 pm with the Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11 am at St. Theresa Church in Briarcliff Manor. The Interment followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining handled the funeral arrangements.
