Joseph L. Ceccarelli

Joseph L. Ceccarelli January 19, 1932 - July 19, 2010 Joseph L. Ceccarelli, a resident of Ossining and South Daytona Beach, FL., passed away Monday July 19, 2010. Joe was born in Easton PA. on January 19, 1932 and was the son of Eugene and Emily Ceccarelli. He was 78. Joe was a graduate of Ossining High School and received his Bachelors degree from Manhattan College. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was Controller at Louis Dreyfus Corp. in CT. Joe married Rita Higgins in 1958 and she predeceased him in 1992. He was a communicant at St. Augustine Church where he was the longtime Chairman of the Italian Festival and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Joe is survived by his 3 children Joseph, Diane Foster and Daniel; 5 grandchildren Eugene, Patricia, Michelle, Stephen and Kathleen. He is also survived by his companion Anne Luby. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday 7-9 pm and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass will be held Friday 10 am at St. Augustine's Church 381 North Highland Avenue (914) 941-0067.
