Joseph C. Borich July 25, 1922 - October 11, 2009 Joseph C. Borich ­ a former longtime resident passed away Sunday Oct. 11, 2009. Joseph was born in Peekskill on 7/25/1922 and was the son of Michael & Rose (Odzeirne) Borich. He was 87. Joseph was a Veteran of WW II in the Army and served in the Pacific Theatre. He married Rita Weir in 1948. He retired as a Corrections Officer with Westchester County at the Penitentiary in 1977. Joseph was a member of the Moose and American Legion in Sykesville, MD. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Rita; his son Michael (RuthAnn), his daughter Anitra (Antonio) DiMascia, his grandson Michael & Jason Borich and Christopher DiMascia. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm with the Funeral Mass Thursday10am at St. Augustine Church. Internment St. Augustine's Cemetery.
