Elizabeth (Betty) J. Harbort passed away January 28, 2009 Elizabeth (Betty) J. Harbort passed away Wednesday January 28, 2009. Betty was born in North Tonawanda, New York. She married George R. Jr. on October 17, 1942 and was a resident of Pleasantville from 1946-1956 and Ossining from 1956 till present. Betty is survived by her husband George R., her two daughters: Judi Seacord of Mahopac and Jean Benvenuto of Potsdam, her seven grandchildren; her seven great grandchildren, her brother William W. Cowles. Her son James W. predeceased her in 1996. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with the services at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11:00 AM.
