John W. Matherly March 28, 1947 - February 12, 2004 John W. Matherly a resident of Ossining died Thursday February 12, 2004. He was born in Bayshore , Long Island on March 28, 1947 and was the son of John & Della Matherly. He was 56. John was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War and served in Germany. He was a graduate of S.U.N.Y. at Oneonta and was the Design Director at the Hudson River Museum where he employed for the past 22 years. His wife Laura Vookles, his sons Justin & Evan, his father John, his sister Joy Carotenuto, his brother Christopher, and many loving nieces and nephews survive Mr. Matherly. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM with the funeral Service on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's on the Hill Episcopal Church, 40 Ganung Dr., Ossining, (941-6627). The interment will follow at Long Island National Cemetery at Calverton, L.I.
