Lammie Gooden February 27, 1923 - January 11, 2008 Lammie Gooden a longtime resident of Ossining passed away on Friday January 11, 2008. Lammie was born in St. Ann, Jamaica on February 27, 1923 and was the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Johnson) Brown. She was 84. Lammie was a retired Nurses Aide at Brandywine Nursing Home. She was a longtime member of the Ossining Gospel Assembly. Lammie is survived by children Velma Redway, Norma Hamil, Charles Garcia, Rosemaria Rogers and Ronald Robinson; her sister Enid McArthur; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Leslie, Edgar, Adela, John and Joseph. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with the funeral services on Saturday 9:30 AM at the Ossining Gospel Assembly (914-941-0989). The interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery.
