Geraldine (O'Connor) DeCrenza November 24, 1928 - September 19, 2007 Geraldine (O'Connor) DeCrenza a former resident of Ossining and Peekskill and now a resident of Wappinger Falls, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Wednesday September 19, 2007. Jerry was born in Peekskill on November 24, 1928, to the late Kenneth and Lillian O'Connor. She was 78. Jerry attended Assumption schools, and graduated from Peekskill High School in 1946. She married Alfonso DeCrenza on May 2, 1953, at the Assumption Church in Peekskill, NY. She worked for several years as a secretary in NYC, and later for Readers Digest where she retired in 1990. Jerry loved to sing and was a member of the Sweet Adeline International Singers. Jerry devoted her life to her family and friends; she will be missed by all. Jerry is survived by her husband Alfonso, her sons Michael and Robert (Amy), twin daughters Judy (Tom) Bolt, Janet (Jack) Purdy and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Kenneth O'Connor, Jr. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with the Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Assumption Church in Peekskill (737-2071).
