Rocco Velardo August 16, 1924 - May 9, 2007 Rocco Velardo a resident of Ossining died Wednesday May 9, 2007 after a long illness. Rocco was born in Sassinoro, Italy on August 16, 1924 and was the son of the late Luigi and Maria Apollonio Velardo. He was 82. He was a retired employee of Millwood Nursery and a communicant of St. Ann's Church. Mr. Velardo is survived by his daughter Lauretta Cossetta, his sons Luigi, Matteo and Miguel; his sister Filomena Conte; his brother Claudio; 12 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 12:00 noon at St. Ann's Church.
