Sarah D'Agostino - “Mrs. D.” September 21, 1920 - January 25, 2007 Sarah D'Agostino- “Mrs. D.”- A lifelong resident of Ossining died Thursday January 25, 2007. Sarah was born in Ossining on September 21, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Ann Sanderson Leary. She was 86. “Mrs. D” owned and operated her own day care center for over 30 years. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. “Mrs. D. loved and cared for all children as if they were her own”. Sarah is survived by her husband of 64 years Anthony; her children Anthony (Eliza), Ann (Jim) Clune, Gloria (Chris Hart), Vincent (Anni), Nancy Dryden, Joseph (Margaret), John (Carolyn), Mary Ann (Martin) Greismer, Carolyn, Catherine (Jorge) Ibanez; her brother Paul Leary and sister in law Ann D'Agostino; 22 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews that she was very fond of. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with the funeral mass on Monday at 10:30 AM at St. Ann's Church. The interment will follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery.
