Daniel J. Simonetti January 28, 1926 - January 9, 2007 Daniel J. Simonetti a former resident of Hastings on Hudson and a resident of Boca Raton, FL died Tuesday January 9, 2007 in Boca Raton, FL. Daniel was born in N.Y. City on January 28, 1926 and was the son of John and Catherine (Pesce) Simonetti. He was 80 years old. Daniel was a veteran of WW II in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Guam. He was a retired N.Y. City Police Officer with Motorcycle One. After raising his family in Hastings on Hudson he retired to sunny Florida to live out his golden years golfing, Bowling and playing Poker. Daniel leaves behind his wife of 57 years Rita; his daughter Carole; his son John (Marjorie) and his 3 grandchildren Evan, Daniel and Andrew Panken. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining.
