Margaret Hobbs Ertelli May 26, 1920 - September 16, 2006 Margaret Hobbs Ertelli a lifelong resident of Ossining died Tuesday September 19, 2006. She was 86 Margaret was born in Mt. Vernon on May 26, 1920 and was the daughter of John & Maude (Kelly) Hobbs. She was married Peter Ertelli who died in 1993. Margaret was a former employee of the District Nursing Assoc. in Ossining. She was a former Girl Scout Leader in Ossining and volunteered with the P.H.J Program at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Ossining. She was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff Manor. Mrs. Ertelli is survived by her 2 daughters Marie (Leonard) Savanella and Joan (Gregory) Toretta; 5 grandchildren Philip, George, Stephen (Michelle) Toretta and Elizabeth and Victoria Savanella; her great grandson Aidan Toretta. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining, with the funeral mass on Thursday at 10:00 am at St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff.
