Sarah A. McMorrow July 5, 1926 - January 16, 2004 Sarah A. McMorrow a resident of Ossining died Friday January 16, 2004. Sarah was born in Drumkeeran, County Leitrim, Ireland on July 5, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Katherine O'Hara McPartlan. She was 77 years old. Sarah was a parishioner of St. Augustine Church in Ossining where she was a member of the Legion of Mary, The League of the Sacred Heart, the Golden Eagles and the Altar Guild. Her acts of love & mercy were well known as she visited and prayed with the sick in area homes, nursing homes and hospitals. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and touched many lives with her acts of love. Sarah is survived by her 4 sons John (Noreen), Kevin (Jennifer), Jerry (Joann), Patrick (Patricia), her 2 daughters Mary (Michael) DeFranco and Teresa (Steven) Kress. Her 11 grandchildren Sean, Andrew, Lindsey, Matthew, Kelly, Vincent, Michael McMorrow, Sarah & Ashley DeFranco and Bryan and Scott Kress also survive her. Her brother Michael McPartlan and many loving nieces and nephews also survive her here and in Ireland. Her husband John P. predeceased her on July 11, 1999. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM. The interment will follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery. Family and friends are making donations to St. Augustine's Church, Eagle Park, Ossining, NY 10562.
