Edward R. Many

Edward R. Many May 19, 1921 - August 2, 2006 Edward R. Many a life long resident of Ossining died August 2, 2006 at Phelps Memorial Hospital. Ed was born in Ossining on May 19, 1921 and was the son of Romeo and Edna Conklin Many. He was 85. Ed graduated from Ossining High School in 1940. He than entered the US army during WWII and served in the Filipinas as a staff Sergeant. He was formally employed with the A&P on Broad Ave. and was the Head Teller with Barkley's bank in Briarcliff and retired 1986. He was a member and usher with St. Ann's Church and worked with its Bingo Committee for many years. Ed is survived by his loving wife Alfina Biondo; 1 daughter Patricia Connolly; 1 son Mark; his 5 grandchildren Darren, Brendan and Corinne Connolly and Megan and Bryan Many; his great granddaughter Camila Connolly. He was predeceased by his sister Edna Sylvia and his brother Jerry. Visiting hours will be Thursday at 2-4 and 7-9 PM with the Funeral Mass Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Church.
