Andrew L. Short December 17, 1926 - June 6, 2006 Andrew L. Short a former resident of Ossining died Tuesday June 6, 2006. Andy was born in Kingston, NY on December 17, 1926 and was the son of Andrew L. and Margaret (Bishop) Short Sr. He was 79. Andy was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy 6th Seabee Battalion during WW II. When he returned from the war he went to work for the Bank for Savings in Ossining. He retired in 1988 as the Senior Vice President of the Peoples Westchester Savings Bank. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Briarcliff Manor. Andy is survived by his wife Margaret; his daughters Billie Jean Norton of Midland TX and Joan Keeler of Scarborough, ME; his sister Edna Sexton of Midland TX; 4 grandchildren; 1 stepson; 2 stepdaughters and 5 Step grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with the Funeral Services on Saturday at 10 AM at All Saints Episcopal Church in Briarclff Manor. The interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Angelman's Syndrome Foundation, Suite 203, 414 Plaza Dr., Westmont, IL, 60559 would be appreciated.
