James P. Wheeler

James P. Wheeler April 19, 1933 - December 25, 2003 James P. Wheeler a lifelong resident of Ossining died December 25th, 2003. James was born in Ossining on April 19th, 1933 and was the son of Edward and Dorothy (Craft) Downey. He was 70. James was a veteran of the U.S. Army in Korea. He was employed with The Hudson Wire Co. in Ossining and retired in the late 1980's. He was a member of the Ossining Boat & Canoe Club and was a very talented craftsman. James is survived by his children Colleen, Patrick, Edward, Jennifer and Daniel Wheeler, his brother William and his 12 grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM with the services at the funeral home on Sunday at 10:00 AM. The interment will be private.
