"Blondie" Josephine Gualtiere March 1, 1926 - March 1, 2006 Josephine "Blondie" Gualtiere, resident of Ossining and former resident of North Tarrytown died Wednesday March 1, 2006. Josephine was born in Czechoslovakia on March 1, 1926 and was the daughter of Rudolph and Josephine (Ruppert) Yurkovic. She was 80. Josephine was a graduate of North Tarrytown High School, class of 1944. She then worked at Eastern Aircraft during WWII. She also worked at the Maryknoll Fathers and retired in 1976. Josephine was a member of the Sokol Club in North Tarrytown. Josephine is survived by her sons Arthur and Alan, four grandchildren: Michelle, Christopher, Sally Ann and Katherine. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur "Babe", her son Gary, and brothers Rudolph and Michael Yurkovic. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with funeral services on Monday at 12 noon at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery.
